What are commercial roller shutter doors?
Norton Industrial Doors manufacture a high security roller shutter solution to commercial premises with the installation of a 76mm solid concave lathe security roller shutters with options of polyester powder coating or raw galvanised formatting. All security roller shutter doors are powered by high quality 240 volt tubular motor units with the option of single or multi-controlled operation.
Fully punched 75mm concave security curtains are available offering up to 55% vision when in the closed position. The curtain “still” provides equal security with the added benefit of pleasing local council planning offices. This arrangement is the most cost effective way of supplying security and maximum visibility.
Perforated security roller shutters provide a transparent effect when background lighting is illuminated. This particular design of shutter offers a high degree of security with inner integral strength. Perforated shutters are commonly used when ventilation is a requirement. This type of door can be produced up to 10 metres wide in one single span
Our roller shutter doors can be supplied with safety edges and photocells if automatic (impulse) close is required. All safety systems comply with the current machinery directive standards.
